Happy Halloween!

As some of you may know, i LOVE Halloween. This year I did not get to participate in as many activities as years past but thats okay - i was in a fabulous wedding :)
however, I did dress up for Halloween today (at work) ... pixel and I did another 'couples' costume. I was little bopeep and pixel was my lost black sheep.
Us at work...

Some of my favorite costumes included "A one night stand" & "Cross Walk" very clever and unique...

By the way I made my costume... I taught myself to sew a few years ago. It comes in handy much more than might think! Recently I fixed 4 tree stand seats :)

wedding thingymabobs

I want to send out save the dates soon... thoughts of this lead me to invitations...
I stressing (only a little) over this issue for a couple of reasons...

I believe they set the tone for the whole event whether it be
... glamorous ... vintage... fun... country... nature inspired...
So, i guess I want ours to be vintaglamcasufunature... today, I will have a different answer tomorrow.

with all of the invitation pondering and being the DYI everything bride... I thought of tin can luminaries... and jelly jar candle holders... they totally go with the current theme

The only good pics I could find...

oooo... feeling inspired!

Engagment photos

we had them taken. It was so fun! Like most wedding 'activities' I've been doing, it makes me want to get hitched TOMORROW! Again, I recommend my photographer to everyone. Below is just a little taste of our sure to be fabulous photos....

the history and significance of where are pictures were taken...
Good ol' downtown Kalamazoo... specifically The Union - the location of our first date, aw...
Of course pixel was in a few pictures... she was refusing to look at the camera, but was totally up for giving Amy (our photog) kisses. Lucky I think she got a few good pictures :)

Any more wedding plans?
Not really just looking into some DJ's and planning our mini trip to the homestead next month.

Another f'n awesome site!

---> fab decor HERE <--- you HAVE to check out this site. A coworker brought it to my attention. The picture above is not my fav but i had difficulty 'borrowing' images from there site. Damn smart web people. I love love love the chandelier graphic and the "prose' concept. Watch out Greg these could be coming to our house soon. Well... when we get a house that is.

A pic to share....

This is a very disappointing picture because it does not do the final pieces justice! I was able to give these to her this weekend (finally!)... I had a great time at her shower, its was nice visiting with everyone, and showering Megan with gifts and love. I'm really looking forward to their wedding and I wish them a happily ever after.
