After a LONG but great weekend we are back in Michigan :)
I had alot of time in the car to think about how freakin' busy next summer is going to be for us. We will be professional wedding attendees by summers end, just in time for our own.

I've also been looking into some 'official' wedding websites. It is difficult because I have a list of criteria AND sites can be expensive.

lastly, it is nice to know Miss Kate is ready my blog... she does still exist!

road trippin'

I was having lunch today and I occurred to me how many road trips I have taken this past year... I'll be taking another a week from today to Greer, SC. It is a family trip, which I think I can officially say now. I'm excited.

We drove 40+ hrs (Florida and back) in under a week... and we're still together :)

... delegate ...

So I delegated an element of my wedding planning.

The ceremony music.

Who did I delegate to? My dad.

This is a great job for him, but of course my mom has a say in it too... and they have two different visions of ceremony music...
Mom likes traditional, classical, stuff you might find at everyone else's wedding...
Dad likes classic country, folk, and has even been dabbling in Celtic for the ceremony among much more...

this will be interesting and I'm excited to see how it pans out. Regardless I'm sure they will come up with something fabulous and certainly memorable...
