Dress UPDATE

So, after my frustration of dress shopping I went back to Memories Evening Wear in Kalamazoo. This was the store that I felt would be the best to work with and they did have some dresses I liked. When I went back there this week they knew I was coming an had all the dresses I like laid out, as well as a couple more new ones that they thought I would like. SO, I have not chosen a dress yet, but I have it narrowed down to 3 -- ALL of which are at this store. I would be VERY happy with any one of these dresses...
I highly recommend this store. They have wonderful service as well as an great atmosphere, the best store I've visited :)

yup. I'm printmaking again, and it feels good...
I had a great night in the studio last night and am feeling inspired...
it makes focusing at work at little more difficult.
This was the starting image from my sketch book... I excited to see what it will be come.

It's called "Beautiful Day".

No upcoming shows to speak of but I'm think about a location for an Art Hop soon.

Ooooh, and weddings! I 'decorated' serving pieces for my friend Megan's wedding, they are lovely... :)
I will upload an image soon, I just don't want to spoil the surprise for her :)

a walk on sunday.

Greg, pixel and I went for quite a walk on sunday. We walked a couple miles, through some of my favorite property. Its the property Greg and my family are hunting on this year. Pixel was oblivious to all the deer, popping up around us... but she did manage to chase a goose, and get COVERED in burrs and twigs. It was nice, but there is something eerie about deer.

the quest for the dress.

"Oh, you will know when you find it..." NOT true.
I love everything. But I'm never sure its 'the one'.
I do like dress shopping, but when is enough enough?
If i just pick a dress will i be setteling? This is hard, really hard.

"It's not about the dress"... yeah i know.

my brides, how did you choose?

more nerdy dorky stuff.

I have a bad habit on internet shopping / browsing. I could do it for hours, and somedays I probably do. Yesterday I was on an endless search for a digital camera bag. I didn't think I was being too picky but I could not find ANYTHING I wanted. A have a some criteria -
- unique
- small
- protective (this will be my third camera)
Anyone have any suggestions? What are you using?

color - I LOVE color

I've been struggling ALOT with a color palette. I love color. all color.
You'd think this would think this would be the easiest decision for me but it is not... it changes daily. I was at class tonight and came across a neato color site... so... of anyone is struggleing with a color palette whether it be wedding or house, I suggest a visit to this site -- it has loads of inspiration.
